I like to purchase pieces that can be multi-functional. Sure, the intended use for this trifle dish is to beautifully display custard, fruit or sponge cake, but how often do you make one of those? I found this piece rimmed in soft gold after the holidays last year for just $3!
This trifle dish can hold fruits or float the head of a beautiful flower. It also works well for a self serve bar. As shown below, it is great for chilling a bottle of wine or champagne.
