Updating a Home with Paint

Oh what a little paint can do!  This week our home renovations include painting!  Our new home was dark, but with a few tweaks, is coming to light.  There's still a lot to do, but here's a little progress report.  For all the details on completed rooms, click on the after links.

As you can see, I chose very neutral paint colors so that decor can easily transition with the seasons {or my every changing tastes}.  The lower level was painted a soft grey and the upper level a dark cream. I chose a deeper grey for two of the baths.  Funny, growing up in an off white house, I always wanted color.  Now all I was is everything to be neutral.  Who knew?  My mother is probably laughing at me now.
