Some items are beautiful, timeless and classic. That's how I feel about boxwood wreaths. They transition well into every season. I love them for myself, and for gifting.
When most brides marry, they have very little seasonal decor. And if you're like me, changing decor every season can be a bit of a burden. I'm not into witches and ghosts at Halloween or over the top bunnies and chicks at Easter. My solution is to select one beautiful wreath, and alter it to fit each season with a beautiful piece of ribbon and the occasional accent.
I included 4 significant, precut pieces of ribbon for the bride to be. Each is long enough to hang the wreath from and tie a bow. I used different techniques at the end of each ribbon so that it's completely effortless for her.
This beautiful pool blue ribbon is great for Winter or Spring!
While I prefer simple ivory for Summer, this burlap ribbon {found in the floral section of your craft store} is beautiful for Fall.
For Christmas and Valentine's Day, a bold red makes a statement.
I labeled kraft bags to "wrap" and present the gift.
This is a gift that gives year round!

That was easy, and practical. Yet it's very presentable and lovely. This I must try!
THis is such a great idea. Where did you find that pretty wreath? I have never seen one like that before in the stores.
I purchased this one at Nell Hills, a Kansas City boutique. www.nellhills.com Ballard Designs, Williams Sonoma and Target also carry them.
