Homemade Bubble Bath

There are so many different ways you can make bubble bath, but I wanted to create one that would soften the skin, have a relaxing aroma for winter and be as frothy as the store bought version.  After testing a few combinations {yes, the hard part of my job}, I created what I think is the perfect solution.

2/3 c liquid glycerin
1 c clear, unscented dish soap
15+ drops essential oil {add to your preference}
dried lavender {which will color your bubbles} or lavender essential oil
 4 Tbsp water
2 tsp salt

Gently mix in a mixing bowl and add to your container.

I added whole stems of lavender, so they wouldn't part in the tub.

The perfect gift addition to my lavender mint salts and scrub! Gift sets would be perfect for a hostess, birthday or bridesmaid gift.  They'd even make great favors and welcome gifts.
